The website creation process has 6 phases: 1. Initial meeting and consultation The initial meeting with a client is an important opportunity to know and understand each other. During this meeting we discuss: • The objectives of the client’s website. • Design requirements (style, colors, fonts, overall design, animations, etc) • Number of pages required, and its structure to design the site map. • Domain and hosting requirements. • The time-scale the client has in mind for getting website online. Requirements Source Document (RSD): After the initial meeting, we provide a client the RSD which contains all requirements that we get from the client also we can gather more information from the client by email, phone conversation, and/or face-to-face meetings in order to accurately define enough details to write a detailed site specification. Note: RSD will be the basis for the Functional Specifications and the major reference for the project requirements throughout the development process. Once the RSD approved, we can proceed to the next phase. 2. Design and approval Creating a draft main page and subpage design, a copy of which will be demonstrated to the client for approval. We give up to three design free, after that, the client will be charged for new one. Once the design approved, we can proceed to the next phase. 3. Site Creation (Development) We expect our client to provide us with all contents of the site including text and images. After that the development process will take place as scheduled, and we will schedule many progress meetings with clients to keep him up-to-date and to avoid any problems from early stages. 4. Testing Testing on the main browser such IE, Firefox and opera... . Testing includes functionality testing, broken links, errors, bugs, response time, and any other problems upon original users requirements. We do the user acceptance testing before proceeding. 5. Deployment With client domain name finalized, and website hosting arranged, we upload the website to the server and we go live. Then we provide training and support to the site. 6. Maintenance If agreed and signed, we can do maintenance upon client requirements including update the contents, design, and style of website. |
